What it measures
It is Drives 1 : Points per drive 1 : Fouls drawn 1. Each part is turned into a rank first, then combined in that ratio. From there it becomes a percentile, and then a grade.
Attacks at the rim: how often (per 100 possessions), the points each one produced, and the free throws each one drew, combined in equal parts

How many players are ranked
This metric has an attempts cutoff. Players short of it are shown as “—” and are not ranked — which means there were too few attempts to rank them, not that they are bad at it.

Other metrics in “On-ball”
- Playmaking — AST% (how many of the team's baskets you had a hand in)
- Half-court creation — Synergy's pick-and-roll ball handler plus isolation: how much a player is trusted to create in the half court, and how well those plays end. Drives off a closeout are classed as spot-ups by Synergy, so they are not counted here
- Ball security — turnovers per 100 touches
