Rebound conversion
What it measures
It is the share of balls landing near you that you came down with. From there it becomes a percentile, and then a grade.
Of the balls that came down within 3.5 feet (REB_CHANCES), the share actually secured; boards conceded to a teammate are removed from the denominator. It correlates +0.348 with REB% and −0.264 with height, so it measures something other than how many boards you got

How many players are ranked
This metric has no attempts cutoff. It measures volume itself, so doing little is correctly reflected as a low mark. Everyone in the qualified pool is ranked.
